In today’s world, where migration has become an increasingly widespread phenomenon, many families face new educational challenges. Outside of Russia and Ukraine, there is a growing need for qualified teachers who can provide instruction in Russian and Ukrainian.
The Friendship Database presents profiles of online teachers and tutors in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and geography. All of them have studied their subjects and earned their qualifications in Russian and/or Ukrainian, which enables them to explain complex material clearly and effectively.
Many children of immigrants are required to attend schools where instruction is given in an unfamiliar or only partially understood language. As a result, they often cannot fully master academic subjects until they reach a sufficient level of proficiency in the language of instruction. According to statistical data, it typically takes about five years to acquire academic language skills at the level needed for successful learning.
Therefore, more and more parents of Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking children are seeking maths and science teachers who can help their children understand school subjects in their native language. These children should not have to bear responsibility for what is happening in the world.
